DAY 1 : Welcome of the tour members at the Hotel** La Ferme de Flaran, located next to a Cistercian abbey, a few kilometres away from the city of Condom. This charming and quiet hotel provided 12 rooms each with its own personalised style, a well-known gourmet restaurant and an attractive garden with a swimming-pool. The staff is friendly and professional. Settling in double rooms. Meeting at the nearby Château de Cassaigne. The Armagnac is aged in oak barrels in this 13C castle, former country residence of the Bishops of Condom. Visit of the castle and of the store. Tasting session. Free visit of the fortified village of Larressingle, of the superb medieval bastide of Fources and of Condom.
Dinner and night at the Hotel.

DAY 2 : After an early breakfast, you meet with the pilot. Involvement in setting up of the hot-air balloon. Take-off for one hour privately reserved balloon flight over the Armagnac region. Discover from the air the Cistercian abbey, the vineyards of the Gascony country-side, the typical farms and the private castles nestled in beautiful parks with their hundred-year-old trees. The hot-air balloon flies with the wind but is linked by radio to a 4WD car to ensure a safe arrival. Champagne after landing. Award ceremony folowed by aperitif and a gourmet lunch illustrating the variety of the Gascony cuisine.

48 hours before flying, the pilot with the help of meteo France do a weather forcast to confirm the hot-air ballon flight.
